MEMORIES

Leaving their equipment at the Rainbow to be cleared by the roadies, the band hurried into a waiting automobile and set off to the Moonlight, where they appeared last. Joy Division's set, using borrowed equipment (which explains the lack of keyboards), began with the From safety to where...? bassline followed by their being introduced as "Stevie and the JD's"
